Harnoor Singh obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Trent University, and subsequently received her LLB from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom and her LLM from Osgoode Hall Law School.

Throughout her law school career, Harnoor was part of the University of Leicester Canadian Law Society, University of Leicester Peer Mentoring Program, and the University of Leicester Pro Bono Society. In addition, Harnoor has volunteered with many organizations such as The Canadian Cancer Society, Peacebuilders International and in her own community at the Peel Children's Water Festival.

Prior to joining Gupta Criminal Trial Lawyers, Harnoor articled at Lindsay Law and summered at an Immigration and Refugee law firm where she was able to enhance her understanding of immigration and refugee law.
